Install Chat Widget On WordPress
Your guide to installing your Quickdialog chat widget on your WordPress website.
Before you can install your chat widget onto your WordPress you’ll need the following:
1 – Access to your WordPress Dashboard
2 – The web chat widget code snippet generated from your Quickdialog account
If you don’t have a web chat widget code snippet yet, you can create one by following the instructions in this article

Installing on WordPress
Step 1: Log in to WordPress
Go to your website’s WordPress admin dashboard and log in.
Step 2: Go To The Plugins Page
On the left hand navigation panel, click on Plugins and then click the Add New button.
Step 3 : Add New Plugin
In the search bar, look for the Insert Header and Footers plugin. In the options given, you can use any of the plugins shown. In this example we will use “Insert Header and Footers” by WPBeginner.
Press the Install Now button and make sure you then active the plugin so you can use it.
Step 4 : Open Headers and Footer Console
From the left navigation menu, click Settings and click on the Insert Headers and Footers plugin from the settings submenu.
Step 5 : Add the Web Chat Script
When you generate a web widget within your Quickdialog account, you will be given a plugin script which you you then need to paste in the Script in Footer section of the Header and Footer console page.
Once you have pasted this script, click on the blue ‘Save‘ button on the bottom of the page.
You’re done! The chat widget is now active on your site!
